Lisa Pittman, Co-Founder
Lisa Pittman is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in English, and a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center. She is an attorney practicing civil litigation at Martin, Disiere, Jefferson & Wisdom. Her duties as President are to lead the Executive Moms Society, coordinate planning of events, cultivate membership, acquire sponsorship, and to focus the goals of Executive Moms Society. Lisa is also on the board of trustees and a planning committee for the Association of Women Attorneys Houston, and belongs to other law related professional groups and associations, holding a leadership position with the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Law section as vice-chair of the Business Litigation Committee. Lisa also serves on the legal advisory board to ESCAPE Family Resource Center, which provides free parenting programs for lower income Houston families. Lisa has two elementary school age children, and loves building forts, playing with ninja turtles, racing cars, filming living room musical theater productions, camping, reading, and creating art with her children. She also is a huge music fan and has smuggled her children backstage with Willie Nelson, Wilco, and the Gourds. Still listening to vinyl, she has yet to master the iphone like her children and has no clue how to operate the Wii, or any post-atari gaming device. But she is determined to revolutionize how things are currently done in business and bring women to the front of the stage professionally, as stars on their terms!

Suzette Tejeda is Vice President- Finanacial Advisor at BBVA Compass Investment Solutions.
Marianne Robak, President and Board Member
Marianne G. Robak is a business litigation attorney who also prides herself in being a "soccer mom" to her two young kids, Joe (7) and Caroline (3). Her professional focus is primarily representing small companies in contract negotiations and contract disputes/litigation. Though she focuses on small businesses, Ms. Robak has represented Fortune 500 companies at every level of the litigation process. She has tried jury and non-jury cases in state court and has presented oral argument to the court of appeals. Today, Ms. Robak serves as outside corporate counsel to small businesses who routinely seek her counsel for a myriad of legal matters. Her small business clients keep her on "speed dial" for whenever a potential dispute arises and she always quickly responds with a solution. Marianne received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 2004. In law school, she was a member of South Texas’ top ranked moot court team. In 2005, she earned prestigious membership to the National Order of Barristers.
Heidi Steinhagen, Executive Director and Board Member, Director of Promotions
Heidi Steinhagen attended Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee for English for Corporate Communications and Fine Arts. Heidi is the owner and operator of Dream of Me Photography. She is also the Committee Chair of Website Design and Events for her HOA. After moving to Omaha, Nebraska in 2008, Heidi found an interest in Community Development with the Omaha Chamber of Commerce and established a well rounded workforce development program in association with local workforce services to help the unemployed recieve the education and training needed to find and keep gainful employment. Finding that she wanted to continue with nonprofit organizations in a different field, Heidi began as the special projects coordinator for the Nebraska Children Home Society Foundation, where she preserved the history of the foundation through archiving photos within the organization as well as through local museums, the historical society, and the Nebraska Memories project through the Nebraska Library Commission. Heidi and her children relocated to Cypress, Tx in 2012. She decided to continue with her love of photography by starting her own photography business in the Greater Houston Area.
Liz Clearman, Assistant Executive Director and Board Member, Director of Events
Liz Clearman is a 2001 graduate of Texas A&M University, and went on to earn a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2004. After graduation from UHLC, she practiced law in the Contracts Division of the City of Houston’s Legal Department, and then went on to accept a position back at UHLC in the Career Development Office as a Career Counselor. In 2008, right before her daughter was born, she chose to leave her position at the Law Center in favor of being a stay-at-home-mom. During that time, Liz followed one of her passions and founded a professional organizing business, lc organizing, also serving on the Board of Directors of the Houston chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers as the Marketing Director. She recently decided to re-enter the workforce, and took a job as the Marketing Director for Chick-fil-A at I-10 & Silber, where she got her feet wet as a working mom. Liz is now the Assistant Director of Admissions at the University of Houston Law Center, where her main responsibilities are recruiting prospective students, reading files and assisting in making admissions decisions, and communications/marketing. She plans on staying at the Law Center indefinitely. In the near future, Liz is looking forward to getting involved on the Board of Directors of the Trotter YMCA.
Cassie McGarvey, Secretary and Board Member
Cassie McGarvey is Senior Counsel with Sanders Willyard LLP. Cassie’s legal practice focuses on real estate litigation, general business disputes, oil & gas. She serves as general counsel for small to mid-sized businesses and enjoys assisting in their daily operations. Cassie has been practicing law since 2006, when she graduated from the University of Houston Law Center. She graduated in 2003 from the University of St. Thomas and completed its prestigious honors program. Cassie married her husband, James, in 2007 and has two young daughters, Clara and Lorelei. As a runner and triathlete, Cassie is determined to share her love of running and athletics with her girls. On the weekends, she enjoys running with her girls (in the double-Bob running stroller) and taking the girls to swimming lessons. Cassie has completed 2 IronMan triathlons, nearly 20 marathons, and numerous shorter distances races. Additionally, Cassie writes a blog (www.cassiemcgarvey.com) about navigating parenthood (and just being a woman) and professionalism.
Susan Powell, Treasurer and Board Member
Susan Powell is a graduate of Union University with a bachelor of science in accounting. She is a partner with Matson Driscoll & Damico, LLP, a CPA firm that specializes in forensic accounting. She works as a consultant or expert witness in the evaluation and quantification of losses involved in business disputes, lost profits, fraud and business valuation. She spends at least 5 hours a week on activities related to growing Executive Moms Society and performing her role as a Board Director and serving in her office of Director of Membership.
Leticia Stuart, Director of Membership and Board Member
Leticia Stuart is a graduate of Sam Houston State University. Her major is General Business and Finance.She has been is sales all her life. She LOVES her sales career. Her background is Medical Sales. Two years ago she embarked into a different industry. She is now Sales Manager at InterActive. She has joined the exciting world of 3d Printing. (3d Printing is an additive process where a solid model is built on a printer from a computer image). Leticia, also, sells Canon commercial copiers and MBM commercial shredders. Leticia Stuart is an unshakable optimist. Thank goodness because at one point, she had 3 teenagers AND a husband all under one roof! She has recently taken up golf. This, also, requires “keeping on the sunny side”. Leticia is excited about being a part of Executive Moms Society. She was President of the Hearthstone Mom Group and is active in Toastmaster International.
Cheryl Ormston, Director of Sponsorship and Board Member
Cheryl Ormston is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Journalism/Public Relations. She is Vice President of National Accounts and a shareholder with DepoTexas/Sunbelt, the largest court reporting firm in Texas. Cheryl has always had a passion for involvement in her community. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Houston, and she previously dedicated many years to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo as a member of the Carnival Ticket Committee. Her family is very much a priority! She is married and has two elementary age girls. She enjoys cheering on her kids at various sporting events, spending time cooking/baking with her children, and vacationing with her family.
